Project Code Red
Dear Friends,
As one of my supporters, I want to share with you the latest effort to stop Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama’s government takeover of health care: Project Code Red.
With Democrats using legislative tricks to quickly ram their bill through the Congress, the last line of defense will be the U.S. House of Representatives. That’s why I’m mobilizing my campaign to help Project Code Red hold Democrats accountable for ignoring the American people and pushing a bill that will:
- Destroy jobs here in Texas;
- Radically increase government spending;
- Raise taxes on families and small businesses;
- Cut Medicare for seniors;
- Force you out of health coverage you like; and
- Allow for taxpayer funding of abortion.
Americans have already rejected this reckless proposal. In fact, a recent Rasmussen survey found that “61% of U.S. voters say Congress should scrap that plan and start all over again.”
But Democrats aren’t listening. And make no mistake: they’re determined to pass their bill within a matter of weeks.
We need to stop them. So check out the Code Red website or visit my Web site for a link. The only reason this bill hasn’t passed yet is because patriots like you have sent a clear message to Washington – and with your help and support, we can scrap it once and for all.
